Nigerian lawyer Barrister Stella Justice Nnennaya has stirred widespread reactions online after issuing strong advice to married women whose husbands insist on conducting #DNA tests on their children.
In a statement that has gone viral, the legal practitioner urged women not to panic or resist DNA tests—if they are confident the children belong to their husbands.

According to her, any husband who threatens or insists on DNA testing based purely on suspicion should be allowed to proceed.
Barrister Nnennaya explained that once the DNA results come out positive, confirming the husband’s paternity, the wife should immediately approach a lawyer and file a civil lawsuit for breach of trust, demanding ₦100,000,000 (One Hundred Million Naira) in compensation.
She emphasized that marriage is built on trust and respect, not suspicion and emotional intimidation. Subjecting a spouse to DNA tests without concrete evidence, she noted, is a serious violation of marital trust and dignity.
