I Watched Omotola Jolade Said Dancing to Promote Movies is Unprofessional

You see all these A list actors and actresses trying to condemn dancing as a way of promoting a movie and calling it unprofessional or unnecessary are just jealous of the people doing it; probably because they feel too big to do it.

After Kunle Afolayan said his own, I watched Omotola Jolade said a similar thing in an interview trying to say she’s not condemning it but it’s unprofessional; like seriously?

Isn’t dancing part of art?

Imagine making a movie in the new era (Gen Z) and go fold your hands because you have put in so much work to produce it.

Without promoting it with what’s trending with this generation, like dancing and all, and expect your production to make awareness for itself, then you must be a joker.

I feel people should just do what works for them and stop trying to to water down other people’s efforts because it’s not their thing.

Everyone has their own way of promoting their work, and if dancing gets people talking about a movie, then that’s a win.

You can’t put out a product and expect people to just magically know about it; you gotta meet them where they are. And if where they are is on TikTok dancing to the latest challenge, then that’s what you gotta do.

In this day and age, marketing is key, and if dancing is what it takes to get people to watch your movie, then so be it.

Don’t hear people saying it’s unprofessional when they’re just hating on other people’s methods. Do you, and let others do them.

Olorun a wa pelu wa ooh.
