Ibrahim Chatta shared the story of how his mother passed away after fighting diabetes for 25 years.
He said, “My mum was an amazing woman who always made sacrifices for the people she loved. She took very good care of me when I was a child and was always there for me. I don’t know any woman better than her.
“Mum taught me to be brave and face challenges. When I was a kid, I was very stubborn, and my father didn’t allow me to fight. Fighting was not allowed at home.
Even if someone older cheated you outside, my dad said you must not fïght. But my mum would tell me to go back and stand up for myself.”
He continued, “At first, my wife called from Ibadan to tell me that the nurse we hired to care for my mum hadn’t been coming. We hired the nurse to make sure mum took her medicine and followed her special diet.
